About Mechanical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering is one of the broadest and most versatile of the engineering professions. It was started right from inception of our polytechnic college in the year 2006 with an intake of 60 students. The student strength was increased to 300 in the year 2014.
We mould our students for upcoming industrial environment and industrial exposure by providing Industrial Visit, In Plant Training, Guest Lecture, Value Added Programs, Workshops and Industrial Projects. Our department consistently maintains good academic results through motivated and qualified faculty member. Our students opt higher studies (B.E) in Government Engineering Colleges and various reputed self-financing college. And also we have good placement records in various reputed companies like L&T, Toyota Tsusho, Ownes Corning, TVS Groups, Emerson valves, Hyundai motors, Caterpillar, KYB, LGB, Bosch, Pricol, Craftsman Automation, LMW etc.
The objectives of our department is to enhance the ability of students in fundamental concepts of Mechanical Engineering and its allied fields, leadership skills, team work, social responsibility and employment with ethical values.
